A518, 46RH, 46RE - The 4-speed automatic transmission was launched in 1990. Installed in Dodge and Jeep cars with RWD drive and engines with a capacity of approximately 6.0L. The basis for this gearbox was the A500 gearbox. The designations "RE" and "RH", which were introduced in the A518 update, mean "Electronic Retainer" and "Hydraulic Retainer", respectively.

A618, 47RH, 47RE, 48RE - The 4-speed transmission from the "TorqueFlite" family has been installed since 1990, mainly in Dodge and Jeep trucks and delivery vehicles. These were cars with RWD drive and engine capacity up to 8.0L. The designations "RE" and "RH" have the same meaning as in the A518 transmission modifications. The A618 is considered a heavier gearbox. It can achieve a torque of 610 Nm.
