TH200 / TH200C
THM200 - The three-speed gearbox was introduced in 1976 as a lightweight version of the TH350 automatic transmission. Initially, it was characterized by poor shifting, poor efficiency, and a high failure rate. Later, the TH200 gearbox was modified by adding a clutch lockup and changing the clutches, adding the letter "C" to the name, in keeping with the TH200C nomenclature.
