KM170, KM171, KM172 - The three-speed gearbox was introduced in 1979 for front-wheel drive vehicles. It was installed in Dodge, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Plymouth models with engines ranging from 1.5 L (KM170), 1.5 L to 2.0 L (KM171), and 2.0 L (KM172). The KM170 was installed from 1979 to 2006, the KM171 from 1985 to 1996, and the KM172 from 1986 to 1991.
F3A21, F3A22 - The three-speed gearbox was fitted to front-wheel drive cars from 1983. It was fitted to engines with a capacity of 1.3 l to 2.4 l.
KM175, KM176, KM177, F4A21, F4A22, F4A23 - The four-speed gearbox was produced from 1988 for front-wheel drive vehicles. It was used in numerous Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Dodge, and Plymouth models. The design basis for these automatic transmissions was the KM170 series.
