GS7D36SG / GETRAG DCI700 / GETRAG DCI600 - the double-clutch gearbox appeared on the market in 2008 in BMW cars. It can reach a torque of 400 Nm. It has 7 gears and a minimum possible braking torque of 100 ms. It was installed in the rare BMW M3 and Z4, and after several improvements (modification of the cooling system, computer control) it was also used in the E90, E92, E93, E82 and E88 series.

7DCI700 - The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is designed for high-performance and sports cars with RWD and AWD drive. It can be equipped with a start-stop function without any hardware modifications. When connected to an electric motor, it can be used with a hybrid drive. The computer of this transmission supports specific adjustment of all gear ratios, resulting in different operating modes. The 7DCI700 has several gear set options. The 4.8 ratio spread is best for petrol engines, while 7.2 is better for diesel and petrol engines with high torque. It is installed in the BMW 2 Series - L6 3.0L, 4 Series - L6 3.0L, 6 Series and 6 Series Gran Coupe - V8 4.4L.
