7DCT300 - The Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is designed for 2WD vehicles with an East-West engine. The design of this transmission successfully combines two multi-plate clutches and electro-hydraulic gearbox actuators. The 7DCT300 gearbox is designed on the basis of the 6-speed PowerShift 6DCT250 gearbox. The basic design of the gearbox is implemented according to the three-shaft configuration, while reducing its total weight from 72 kg to 67 kg. The development of an improved design was caused by the tightening of requirements for fuel economy, dynamics and compliance with environmental standards of cars.
