F4A41, F4A4A - The four-speed gearbox was introduced in 1997 for front-wheel drive vehicles with engines ranging from 1.3 to 1.8 liters. Design-wise, the F4A41 gearbox is more similar to the A604 series than to the KM170 series, due to Chrysler's significant influence on its production. Since 1999, it has been installed in mid-size vehicles with engines around 2 liters. The F4A41 has a modification called the W4A42, intended for four-wheel drive vehicles.

F4A41

F4A42, F4A4B - modification of the F4A41 automatic transmission designed for cars with an engine capacity of 1.6L to 2.8L.

W4A42 - F4A41 modification fitted to four-wheel drive vehicles used in the Mitsubishi Lancer and Outlander.

F4A51 - The 4-speed gearbox was introduced in 1998 and was fitted to front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive cars with engines ranging from 1.3 l to 2.8 l.

W4A51, W4A52, W4A5A, F4A5A - 4-speed gearbox fitted to the Mitsubishi Endeavor with front-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and a 3.8-litre V6 engine and the Mitsubishi RVR with four-wheel drive and a 2.0-litre V4 engine.

F5A51, F5A42, F5A5A, W5A51, W5A5A - The five-speed gearbox was introduced in 2002 and was installed in front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles with engines ranging from 2.0 to 3.5 liters. It was used in Kia models (Sportage, Sorento, Opirus) and Hyundai models (Sonata, Santa Fe). Structurally, this gearbox family is related to the V4A51.
